1968 Ford Mustang Convertible This is a very nice restored 1968 Mustang Convertible with a 200 6 cylinder engine and C-4 Automatic transmission. The body is painted factory candy apple red with base/coat clear coat with red standard interior. The power top is tan and it is in new condition as is the restoration. I have known this car for many years and it belonged to a close friend and club member of over 15 years. He has done most of the mechanical restoration him self and he has done a beautiful job. He has shown this car for many years, but more important he has driven it and has had many years of enjoyment. The engine is the 200 6 cylinder with 47000 miles it, along with the transmission. The front end upper ball joints were replaced and lower control arms were replaced to include all of the tie rods, sway bar links, shocks (front and rear). He added an 8 inch rear end and completely rebuilt wheel cylinders and brake shoes, even the front brakes where rebuilt to include new wheel cylinders and master cylinder. New brake flex lines were installed. The drive shaft u-joints front and rear were replaced. The car drives like new. The engine has new alternator, starter, voltage regulator, Pertronix Igniter, fan belt, fuel pump, chrome Monte Carlo bar, windshield washer reservoir, export brace, radiator hoses. Engine runs great!! Body is in great shape, floor pans were replaced and done very nicely. It has the factory color (T) code which is candy apple red and it was done about 3,000 miles ago with many car shows and cruise ins. It has had these new parts installed, new front and rear bumpers, new rocker panel moldings, new emblems, new weather stripping, new out side door handles, new taillight doors, new antenna, new wheel lip moldings, new gas tank and sending unit, left and right outside mirrors. Interior: the carpet has been replaced and is in new condition, dash pad, front seat belts, scuff plates, accessory scuff plates, door panels, armrest pads, seat covers, instrument cluster, JVC cassette radio am/fm radio, quarter trim. This will be a great car for any one to show and drive, very dependable, a Great investment! VIN: 8T03T167440
