1965 Ford Mustang Hardtop 289 2 barrel This is a very nice restored street driven Mustang hardtop that has a rebuilt 289 engine with a 4 barrel Holley carburetor and C-4 automatic transmission. It has power steering and manual drum brakes. Exterior: the paint is very nice and the body is straight, the painting was done when the engine and transmission was rebuilt and it has about 1700 miles on the restoration. The front bumper was replaced along with the windshield and windshield gasket. The rear glass gasket was replaced also. The style steel wheels were added and the tires are like new. The style steel center caps are being replaced. Interior: the red pony interior was added along with the custom console with arm rest. It has had new carpet, pony seat covers, headliner, white pony door panels, and new kick panels with speakers, red carpet pony floor mats, scuff plates, dash pad, instrument cluster, custom am/fm cassette radio. The weather stripping on the doors, roof rail, trunk lid, and all belt liners were replaced. When the pony door panels were added the correct pony door handle and hardware were installed. Engine: the engine was rebuilt and has 1700 miles on it, new valve covers and air cleaner, chrome oil cap, battery cables, 3 flew radiator, 6 blade fan, fuel pump, 4 barrel Holley carburetor. New radiator hoses and P/S belt and alternator belt were installed along with new plug wires and the Pertronix Ignitor in the distributor so you can have worry free driving (No-points and condenser). The exhaust system was replaced with a new dual exhaust system and chrome tips. Suspension: the front shocks are gas shocks and it has had the chrome export brace added and the power steering system rebuilt and it drives great! The brakes were rebuilt and they are drum brakes. The tires are Uniroyal radials 215/70/14 white walls. This will make some one a great little car, the price is very reasonable for the restoration that was done.
