1966 Ford Fairlane 500 Description: 1966 Ford Fairlane 500 2 door hardtop This is a very nice driver that has a 302 engine 2 barrel and automatic transmission. The body is straight and doors and hood and deck lid align up better than factory. Engine: the engine is a 302 engine that runs great and with out any problems. It has a 2 barrel carburetor. We are detailing the engine and engine compartment and will have pictures of it soon. Transmission: The Automatic transmission shifts great and has no major leaks. Body: the paint is fresh and was just finished a few months ago. The under carriage has been cleaned and painted black with out any under coating. The floor pans are original including the quarter panels, fenders, hood, trunk lid. The roof rail weather stripping and door weather stripping has been replaced along with post seals, taillight pads, trunk seal, window felt kit and headlamp door seals. New black seat belts were installed and the headliner was replaced also. The front and rear bumpers were replated at $325.00 each. The glove box liner, trunk boards and outside door handles were replaced. Interior: the interior has been restored, new carpet, headliner and custom seat covers. The door panels and quarter trim were also recovered in the same material. The shifter was moved to the floor and a custom made console was installed. Suspension: The suspension was cleaned and checked over and it is in very good shape. It has had a lower control arm replaced and rear shackles. The front end will have a complete alignment done before delivery. It drives great and the tires are like new. The brakes were rebuilt to include new wheel cylinders and one front brake hose. It has dual exhaust and not to loud but still sounds great. This will make for a great driver and a little more cleaning and detailing it will be a nice show car. Vin: 6H43C108228
