1970 Chevrolet Chevelle This is a 1970 Chevelle that had a frame off restoration and started its life as a 350 and had a rebuilt 454 engine installed. It is now a 454 SS Chevelle with new interior and new paint and all weather stripping were replaced. It does have Power Steering, Power Disc-Brakes. The engine is a rebuilt 454 and has about 1000 miles on the restoration, to include the transmission. New headers and new 2 1/2 exhaust with flow master mufflers and correct exhaust tips. The suspension was rebuilt and any thing it needed was replaced including the shocks, new F-70 Goodyear Poly Glas tires were just installed. The engine components as Alternator, belts, hoses, water pump, fuel pump, all sending units were replaced. A new 3 flew radiator also was installed. No heating problems! An MSD distributor and plug wires with heat boots and wire looms were installed, and a new Holley carburetor with electric choke was installed on an Edelbrock aluminum intake. Moroso valve covers and air cleaner were added. The body is great, new paint and most chrome like bumpers, front and rear; wheel lip moldings, outside mirrors and SS grill emblem were installed on the frame off restoration. All weather stripping were replaced along with a new windshield that is tinted and shaded. The body is very nice and straight and the paint is very nice. The interior has been restored to like factory condition; it has new carpet, seat covers, and headliner, including door seals, belt liners, and Roof rail weathering stripping. The dash pad is original and is in excellent condition. Door panels are new with the correct SS emblems. The console is in new condition and it has a AM/FM Cassette radio in dash. I do not get many SS Chevelles, but this one sure is nice with a very solid body and no rust that I have found and no floor pans were replaced. Just a very good looking and driving car.
